Hard braking without the clutch or in a higher gear can cause the car to stall more often than before in the V2 Physics and FFB feels much more better, somewhat relatable to BeamNG (Im talking the good stuff). Braking distances matter, Engine braking feels like engine braking - Everything flows. I have that very odd sense of not moving as fast as in DR's V2 physics (Perhapes the changes in grip variables from RFPE) But. Weight Distribution feels like it means something, Greece In a 2010's car feels modern, and RWD legends like the Escort MKII or Lancia 037 do feel scary. It's that old Richard Burns: Rally Sorta feel using RFPE Alternate Physics 0.9. I run it with the H-Shifter and made all my setting changes BEFORE installing RFPE. It's a little heavy and tiresome even at 540 Degrees of angle and at 107% FFB with a Logitech G27.
I recommend to setup any controller, HUD, wheel settings and profile settings first before installing for they wont EVER save afterwards if you plan on using it alot in the long run.
DIRT RALLY MODS REALISTIC MOD
(Would recommend using Enhanced Camera Control Mod Instead): Make a GOOD Clean backup of all your files in DiRT Rally Folder (Except for tracks, which woudl tkae maybe 9-12 GB of space depending on what you have installed before like custome liveries) For replacing modded files back to vanilla on the fly without having to Validate Files through steam over and over again when you dont wanna use this mod.

Installed This one Last after RFPE, RFPE-CTF and Camera Mods.įor use OFFLINE ONLY. I installed EVERYTHING for "Gravel" and installed this AFTER RFPE V0.4 Folders. I ONLY INSTALLED THESE FOLDERS FROM RFPE V0.4: Installed this to test and am too lazy to replace it with Enhanced Camera (Which is better IMO). I do plan on saving money for a motion rig and VR as well to use with DR) (Again this is for OFFLINE personal use whenever i want to step up my game or get as close to the real thing so to speak at a moments notice at home. and from then on every thing saved as it should.If I wanted to get the most REALISTIC experience offline for myself in this sim, should i use a physics overhaul mod? The vanilla physics engine V2? Or save the money and get another racing sim? I preffer the latter, and would like to stick with DR but would like community output on using the orignal RFPE or the Alternate Physics 0.9. and found that it saved the progress for both. So i did online event, then did offline event. I opend game again and did a online daily event, exited game, when i opened it the next time it did not save online event, however it saved the offline event.
NOTE you only have to do this once to get online events to save.Īfter i did this fix the first thing i did was do a championship event, then exited the game. Goto folder that DiRT Rally was installed to and delete any remaining filesĪfter game is installed, the offline modes will save right away, for you to get the online events to save, you need to do one offline championship stage after finishing the online event for it to save. goto C:\ProgramData\Codemasters\ Delete the DiRT Rally Folderĥ.
